Source conflicts
Why cross-reference charts disagree
A pool filter cartridge cross-reference can join the same replacement to catalogs that report different dimensions or filter area. This database keeps those source values separate instead of merging them into a single measurement. Its current records contain 74 outside-diameter, 124 length, and 38 square-foot conflict flags.
That pattern is why a part-number match is a starting point, not the final fit check. The three-brand comparison shows real cases without hiding the source disagreement, while the methodology explains the thresholds and source-priority rules behind every flag.

What’s in the database
The build combines the 2026 Unicel Replacement Guide, the Pleatco Catalog & Cross Reference Guide, and the OnCore OnPoint Cross Reference Guide V2.0, updated January 2025. Together they produce 528 cartridge records, 1,740 alias strings, and 367 brand groupings. Browse the Unicel, Pleatco, or Filbur cross reference chart.
A verified-2 label means the cartridge appears in two parsed sources; 203 records carry that tier. Verified-3 means it appears in at least three parsed sources; 131 records carry that tier. The label describes source presence, not a physical fit test.
Lookup paths
Start from what you have
If a complete part number is still printed on the cartridge, enter it in the lookup and open the matching record. If the equipment label is easier to read, start with the pool brand or spa brand directories. The data includes Hayward C900, Pentair Clean & Clear, Intex Type A, and Hot Spring fitments as practical entry points.
When no number is readable, use the cartridge measurement guide to record outside diameter, centerline length, and both end caps. Then compare those measurements in the diameter directory before treating an equivalent as a replacement.
